Our Bare Roots houseplants are raised in nursery pots but are harvested (de-soiled) for bare root orders. They are great value since they are cheaper than potted plants and they are easier/lighter to ship! Use the same method that you would use to repot your Houseplants to plant Bare Root houseplants; however, we recommend planting during spring/summer, since plants are dormant during winter so they are less likely to establish strong roots unless you have strong Grow lights.
Upon arrival, prepare a well-draining potting mix and a container with drainage holes. The bare root format reduces shipping costs and allows you to select your preferred pot style and size for your space.
