Beautifully handcrafted by artist Hanna Heino, the Isla Vase from Cooee Design is a perfectly neutral beige cream ceramic piece that has a mosaic look. Heino pressed the shapes by hand, resulting in the interesting textural details. The ocean and nature's underwater life inspired Heino to create a sculptural structure reminiscent of a coral reef. According to Heino, "the piece is designed to carry your favorite flowers or to be used as a sculptural object." The Isla Vase is a result of a collaboration between Finnish artist Hanna Heino and design brand Cooee Design. Cooee Design is based in Sweden and its products are distributed by Cose Nuove. Based in Edina, Minnesota, Cose Nuove is an importer and wholesale distributor of products created by brands that value the clean design of Scandinavia. Cose Nuove shares this value of Scandinavian design, a reflection of its mission to offer functional products that "come from a tradition of European craftsmanship and design."
