The Allium Sconce takes its name from the onion-shaped inner layer at its core — a signature detail made possible by carefully tuned print settings that render the inner layer matte and the outer layer transparent. View it from the right angle and the namesake form reveals itself, glowing warmly through the outer shell like light through hand-blown glass.

Designed in collaboration with Christopher Merchant, whose practice is rooted in materiality and delicate fabrication, the Allium Sconce leverages 3D printing to achieve a form that looks organic and handcrafted while being lightweight, durable, and unlike anything achievable with natural materials. Mounted with a powder-coated aluminum wall bracket, it brings sculptural warmth to any wall. Available in Smoke, Amber, and Clear, with a dimmable E12 bulb included. Also available as a pendant and table lamp.

Care Instructions

• Wipe shade and bracket with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth
• Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that may damage the PETG surface or bracket finish
• Do not exceed the recommended bulb wattage
• To replace the bulb, unscrew the threaded bottom piece and swap with any LED E12 bulb
• Keep away from direct heat sources and prolonged direct sunlight
• Handle with care — PETG is durable but can warp under extreme heat
