Use caution when leaving on a porous or fabric surface for an extended period, as the wood may release oil over time. To remove oil stains from surfaces, we recommend using a mixture of equal parts baking soda and toothpaste and wiping with a soft clean sponge and warm water (always test surface for damage and colorfastness before cleaning).
