The OCTAEVO Templo Candle in Pale Blue is a sculptural object first, a candle second. Its form is a wide rounded dome with a continuous diagonal twist running around the entire body — like draped fabric or a spiraling column, fluid and organic rather than rigid or geometric. Hand-poured in pale powder blue paraffin wax with a smooth, polished surface. The wax is unscented. The wick is natural lead-free cotton. When lit, the candle melts as a slow performance — the twisted fluting softening and dissolving over 60 hours, transforming the form as it burns. Made by artisans in Italy.
