Chilewich Pressed Petal Placemat | Openwork Clustered Petal Design, 15"

Openwork Scattered Petal Placemat Inspired by the Ancient Craft of Lacemaking

The Chilewich Pressed Petal Placemat is inspired by scattered flower petals, rendered in a delicate modern lace cut-out through a complex process utilizing special molds and close collaboration between Chilewich and specialists at the producing factory in Taiwan. Use it to surround a plate like a charger, or alone as a decorative and understated placemat. Part of Chilewich’s “pressed” collection, it is delicate in appearance yet surprisingly resilient: a contemporary take on the ancient craft of lacemaking.
