The Irawaddy™ Bamboo Pencil Cup is the kind of object that earns a second look. Each cup is handwoven on a small island in Myanmar’s Irawaddy River, where artisans tie toothpick-thin bamboo strips into place with meticulous precision — a tradition as painstaking as it is beautiful, and increasingly rare in the world. The result is a pencil cup with genuine artisan texture, natural variation, and a warmth that no injection-molded alternative can replicate.
Compact at 2.75" diameter and 4" tall, it holds pens, pencils, markers, and scissors without crowding a desk. It works just as well on a vanity, kitchen counter, or studio shelf — anywhere you want a touch of handcrafted warmth in a small footprint. Pairs naturally with the Irawaddy™ Letter Tray and Desk Accessory Set for a cohesive, artisan-crafted workspace.
Pretty and sturdy
