Terrazzo Paper Towel Holder with Concrete Base
This paper towel holder combines functionality with refined design through its terrazzo concrete base and natural wood construction. Hand-cast from concrete mixed with recycled glass, each holder features a unique terrazzo pattern that adds visual interest to kitchen countertops.
Construction & Materials
The base is individually hand-cast using custom rubber molds, with colors integrally mixed into the concrete for durability. Recycled glass particles create the distinctive terrazzo appearance. The vertical rod is available in either maple or walnut wood, providing a warm contrast to the concrete base. A cork bottom protects counter surfaces from scratches.
Due to the handmade casting process, natural variations occur in each piece. Small pin holes and voids are characteristic of hand-cast concrete work and contribute to each holder's one-of-a-kind appearance. The sealer applied is food-grade safe, though direct food contact is not recommended.
