The Mini Drum Lamp is part of the Drum collection, a collaboration with designer Christopher Merchant inspired by the industrial photography of Bernd and Hilla Becher and the intricate substructures found in nature — mushroom gills, flower petals, and refracted light. Christopher sought to unite these influences in a classic lamp silhouette while celebrating the unique capabilities of 3D printing.

Like its larger sibling, the Mini Drum features a cylindrical shade and base as the macro form, with radial, fluted lines defining the inner and outer cylinders as the detail that makes the whole. Compact enough for a desk, nightstand, or shelf, it delivers the same sculptural presence in a smaller footprint. Made from recycled PLA and compatible with any LED E12 bulb, it’s built to last and easy to maintain.
