Pink Sea Urchin Shells with Tillandsia Air Plants - Set of 3
This set combines natural pink sea urchin shells with live Tillandsia Ionantha air plants to create an instant coastal display. Each pink urchin shell measures approximately 1.5 inches wide and 1 inch tall, providing the perfect natural holder for the included air plants.
What's Included
You'll receive three complete arrangements, each featuring one Ionantha air plant nestled in a pink urchin shell. The air plants measure approximately 1.5 inches tall and fit securely into the shells without requiring any glue or filler. This natural fit allows you to easily remove the plants for watering and care.
Tillandsia Ionantha Air Plants
Ionantha air plants are one of the most popular Tillandsia varieties, known for their compact size and minimal care requirements. These soil-free plants absorb moisture and nutrients through their leaves, making them ideal for unique displays like sea urchin shells. Simply remove the plants from their shells once or twice weekly, mist or soak them in water for 20-30 minutes, allow them to dry completely, and return them to their shells.
Natural Pink Urchin Shells
Each shell is a genuine sea urchin shell in a distinctive pink color. The natural opening at the top of each urchin provides the perfect cradle for air plants. These shells add a beach-inspired element to any space while serving as functional plant holders. The natural variations in each shell make every set unique.
Display Options
This set of three works well grouped together on a desk, windowsill, or shelf. The compact size makes them suitable for small spaces, while the set of three creates visual interest. They're equally at home in coastal-themed rooms or as natural accents in modern spaces. The pink color adds a soft, warm tone to plant displays.
Care and Maintenance
Air plants require minimal maintenance compared to traditional potted plants. No soil means no mess, and the ability to remove plants from their shells makes watering straightforward. Ionantha varieties are particularly hardy and adapt well to indoor conditions with bright, indirect light.
