Hand-Blown Glass Orb Terrariums with Live Tillandsia Air Plants
This set of 2 hand-blown glass terrariums brings natural beauty indoors with exotic Tillandsia air plants displayed in 4-inch orb-shaped vessels. Each terrarium features smooth river stones and bright green reindeer moss that provides striking contrast against the air plants' red and silver hues. The flat-bottomed design allows for versatile display options—hang them artistically in groups or place them directly on tables, shelves, or desks.
Featured Air Plant Varieties
Each glass orb highlights distinct Tillandsia species with unique characteristics. The Bulbosa displays classic deep green coloring with wild, dramatic leaflets that create visual interest. The Guatemalan variety offers a compact, rigid shape with structured form. These air plants are selected for their contrasting textures and colors, creating a dynamic living display.
Low Maintenance Indoor Gardening
Air plants require minimal care compared to traditional potted plants. Weekly mistings or quick soaks provide adequate hydration to keep your Tillandsia thriving. No soil is needed, making these terrariums clean and mess-free. Position your glass orb terrariums in bright, indirect light for optimal plant health and growth. The transparent glass allows you to monitor your plants while showcasing their architectural beauty from every angle.
Versatile Display Options
The flat-bottomed orb design offers flexibility in placement throughout your space. Set them on desktops, bookshelves, or windowsills for stable tabletop displays. Alternatively, hang them at varying heights to create an eye-catching vertical garden. The 4-inch diameter makes them ideal for small spaces while maintaining visual impact. Group multiple sets together for larger installations or display them separately in different rooms.
Complete Terrarium Ecosystem
Each terrarium arrives as a complete arrangement with all natural elements included. Smooth river stones provide a natural base layer while bright green reindeer moss adds texture and color contrast. The hand-blown glass construction ensures each orb has unique characteristics, making your set truly one-of-a-kind. The transparent walls allow full appreciation of the layered composition inside.
