Beach Terrarium in Clear Glass Globe
This beach terrarium brings coastal charm to any space with a miniature ocean scene enclosed in a clear glass globe. The 4-inch flat bottom globe contains white sand, a living Tillandsia ionantha air plant, tiny sea creatures, and colorful glass beads that create an authentic beach atmosphere.
Live Tillandsia Ionantha Air Plant
Each terrarium features a genuine Tillandsia ionantha air plant that requires minimal care. These hardy plants thrive without soil, drawing moisture and nutrients from the air. The ionantha variety naturally blooms throughout the year, displaying vibrant colors when flowering. We prioritize sending blushing or blooming specimens when available, though availability varies due to natural growing cycles.
Beach Scene Components
The terrarium includes pristine white sand that forms the base layer, creating an authentic coastal foundation. Miniature sea creatures add whimsical detail to the scene, while colorful glass beads catch and reflect light throughout the day. The clear glass globe provides unobstructed viewing from all angles, allowing you to appreciate every detail of your miniature beach landscape.
Compact Globe Design
The flat bottom globe design ensures stable placement on desks, shelves, or windowsills. The compact 4-inch dimensions make this terrarium suitable for small spaces while maintaining visual impact. The clear glass construction showcases the interior elements while protecting the delicate air plant and decorative components.
Air Plant Care
Tillandsia ionantha requires indirect light and occasional misting to maintain health. Remove the plant from the terrarium for watering, allow it to dry completely, then return it to the globe. This low-maintenance approach makes the beach terrarium suitable for both experienced plant enthusiasts and beginners.
