The Hoya Hindu Rope (Hoya carnosa compacta) is a distinctive succulent vine beloved for its thick, twisted, curly leaves — earning its nickname "Krinkle Kurl." Draping cascades of tightly coiled foliage make it one of the most visually striking houseplants available, and when it blooms, clusters of star-shaped, porcelain-like flowers add an extraordinary finishing touch.
Whether displayed in a hanging basket, trailing from a shelf, or potted on a windowsill, the Hindu Rope Plant brings sculptural texture and effortless charm to any indoor space.
The Hindu Rope Plant is a slow-growing, long-lived succulent vine that rewards patient plant parents with increasingly dramatic trailing growth and occasional spectacular blooms. Available in solid green, it thrives in bright indirect light and prefers to dry out between waterings — making it one of the most forgiving houseplants for busy households.
