Spaceteam: Triangulum Expansion
The Triangulum Expansion extends your Spaceteam experience by increasing player capacity from 6 to 9 players, opening up larger group gameplay for your cooperative space adventures. This expansion pack introduces new ship areas including a quark drive and observation deck, adding fresh challenges as your crew navigates towards the Triangulum Galaxy.
What's Included
This expansion contains 53 cards designed to integrate seamlessly with your base Spaceteam game. The set includes 25 Malfunction cards that create new repair scenarios, 9 Anomaly cards (plus 1 blank card for customization), 3 Spaceship cards featuring the new ship sections, 15 Tool cards for fixing malfunctions, and 1 Rule card explaining the expansion mechanics.
Gameplay Features
The Triangulum expansion maintains Spaceteam's fast-paced cooperative format while accommodating larger groups. Players work together under time pressure to repair ship malfunctions and prepare for warp travel. The new quark drive and observation deck locations provide additional repair stations and strategic options during gameplay. Each 5-minute round delivers the same frantic communication and problem-solving that defines Spaceteam, now with support for up to 9 crew members.
Ideal For
This expansion works well for families, party gatherings, and gaming groups looking to include more players in their Spaceteam sessions. The 10+ age recommendation ensures accessibility for mixed-age groups, while the 5-minute play time allows for quick rounds and repeated plays. The cooperative nature removes player elimination, keeping everyone engaged throughout each game.
