Handwoven Seagrass Bread Warmer Basket with Terracotta Stone
There's nothing quite like the smell of warm bread on the weekend. Here, our terracotta plate has been engraved with a bird & leaf design and cut to fit neatly into an oval basket. This special bread warmer is naturally insulating, and the basket itself has been handwoven from sustainably grown seagrass. It's the best gift item for anyone who loves bread!
Natural Insulation for Warm Bread
The terracotta warming stone provides natural heat retention to keep your bread, rolls, or pastries warm throughout your meal. Simply heat the stone in your oven, place it in the basket, cover with a cloth napkin, and add your baked goods. The terra cotta material holds heat effectively while the handwoven seagrass basket creates an insulated environment that maintains temperature.
Fair Trade Artisan Craftsmanship
Each product is designed and curated by KORISSA, sustainably handmade by Fair Trade artisans in Bangladesh. The seagrass is sustainably grown and carefully woven by hand using traditional techniques. The terracotta stone features an engraved bird and leaf design that adds decorative detail to this functional piece. The combination of natural jute wool trim and seagrass creates a rustic, organic aesthetic that complements any table setting.
Versatile Kitchen and Dining Essential
This bread warmer basket serves multiple purposes beyond keeping bread warm. Use it as a decorative centerpiece, a serving basket for dinner rolls, or a storage solution for kitchen linens. The oval shape fits nicely on dining tables and buffets. The natural color palette works with both casual and formal entertaining.
