The Takara™ Teak Root Wine Bottle Holder is carved from the root section of the teak tree — not the trunk, not the branch, but the root, where the wood is densest, most figured, and most irregular in its natural form. That irregularity is the design: no two Takara™ holders share the same silhouette, grain pattern, or surface character. Each is finished by hand and holds a single wine or spirit bottle in a natural cradle formed by the root’s own shape. At 16 lbs and approximately 13.4" tall, it is a permanent bar object — a sculptural piece that also functions as a wine holder, rather than a wine holder that happens to look sculptural. Dimensions vary by natural material. Wine not included.
Display on a bar cart as a permanent sculptural centerpiece, use on a kitchen counter to hold a bottle of olive oil or spirits, or present as a standalone object on a console or dining sideboard. The organic teak root form pairs naturally with aged brass, dark iron, linen, and ceramic — at home alongside the Stoneshard™ riverstone wine bucket and the Framework™ wine rack for a fully considered home bar collection. A standout gift for wine collectors, serious home entertainers, and anyone whose bar cart deserves a permanent object worth looking at.
